All my cats I ever have was stray. I didn't adopted any of them, they adopted me. Some of them just showed up on my doorstep and decided to stay, some of them followed me home. I love stray cats, because I know that they live with me because they want, and not because they don't have a choice. And they love me back. Purebred cat from the cattery won't ever give you as much affection as stray cat.
