BmanBlaze

this shit is better than anything on tv networks. thank you.

ImAl3xand3r

Check engine flashes when you start into boost

Hooligans Outdoors

External is ok so to speak but the interior is absolutely hideous it would look sick with a fire engine red or even a white paint job or wrap and then leave the carbon fiber hood and trunk

Hooligans Outdoors

And your dead wrong I can hear that car is not running right

Hooligans Outdoors

A car setup like that you need to have put on a dyno and get tuned properly or you 100% will blow it up I'd say definitely get a different ecu like a fuel tech or something along those lines etc

Hooligans Outdoors

A car built like that deserves bullhorns not that gay as ricer exhaust

astonmarjo

Awesome find…. Maybe just rust on the twin disc since it's been sitting. 💯🌟🏁🏁🏁

J L

I can’t wait till this car is gone through completely! What a find. Past DSM owner I always rode around with a full tool kit in the back 😅

DANIEL JUSINO

The flashing check engine light it's giving a code .

jcoopdo

Almost done, didn't sound like tires braking loose sounds like a bad maf or dirty maf on the intake sensor or cam pos sensor messing with you. Maybe it's diff than my Subies but I know I've had very similar behavior and break up stutter stammer like that, under boost with a dirty maf. Plz take the trans off and check your clutch. Lol clutches don't just sometimes work and not when they are brand new. Lol

jcoopdo

Halfway thru, also, 200miles on that engine, I'm now draining oil and changing that out, checking the filter for things that should not be. It's barely broken in, and it's been sitting with e85, running her nice cycling heat thru the gaskets a few times and then finally getting rowdy.. I also don't have cars that I haven't spent alot on.

jcoopdo

For sure not chatter. I would have dropped that trans and had a peek at that. I don't trust that noise. Generally chatter is more a feeling than a grinding noise than you have there. Maybe you do, not halfway thru yet

jcoopdo

Stumbled across your channel today. Great videos. Subbed

Tazante Flight

The flashing check engine light means the check engine light is malfunctioning…..

clay pitman

You guys are professionals but if engine was just rebuilt you know to make sure to flush with new oil n wot not.

BeeCee Built

Stock tails & mesh on hood painted black and thats it. I would leave the look of it alone!

John Keeney

Was he cutting a slim jim with that knife? haha

Manbrosquad dude

Also if it's a twin disk and you have pedal but drag you'll want to pull it and clean the spline. It's a quick job to pull it. Also 10/10 recommend having a competent tuner run through that thing before you run it hard.

Manbrosquad dude

If the clutch is intermittently failing check your thrust bearing runout and verify you don't have crank walk but it's probably a bad slave cylinder

dirt mcgirt

So fun🤟

Gregg H

The grinding from the clutch may be a bad release bearing, as the travel on that Quartermaster style disck shouldn't be much. Additionally, you need to find out what kind of disc's are in there, are they fully metallic, or an organic compound. If its a racing clutch they are not usually designed for slipping, they are in or out. The one picture of it, it looks like a rally clutch, which has limited slip. I used to work that industry for 10 years.

LetsGoVroomVroom!

isnt heet just ethanol? pouring heat into e85 hmmm

steve jette

I bought a Corvette in boxes for $2,000. Put about $15,000 into it. Had a blast except for dealing with local mechanics, ESPECIALLY the one visit to the dealer.
Sold it for cheap. Within HOURS of selling it, the guy crossed the Golden Gate Bridge
four times at $6 per crossing. I received the photo proof and the bill.
BUT … BUT … I HAD WRITTEN THE TIME OF THE SALE ON THE DOCUMENTATION AND I COULD PROVE IT HAD BEEN SOLD HOURS EARLIER.

steve jette

A "38 degree edge" is not a razor blade.
Japanese sushi blades may be 15 and edged on ONLY ON ONE SIDE.
American and European knives (except boning knives) are beveled on both sides.
About 17 (filet) – 30 (cleaver) on each side, making them 34 – 60 degrees total.

Big Bad John

TRE in Kalamazoo MI is the best dsm trans shop

snivesz32

I hope that noise from the clutch isn’t actually crank walk..

John`s Insouciant Woodchuck

Cut up some hoes?? Who are you, Jack the ripper??

Drew Temple

Someone may have already said it but 1 full bottle of heat + give or take 5 gallons of fuel = constantly dies and runs ruff, I to have a 95 eclipse but it's just a gst, I love them diamond star motors!!

Chris Espinoza

Oil pressure is good. Oil pressure wont register at idle with that built motor. Redo timing to factory specs..

Tunerkiid6 Léonardo

Is that really a talon or an eclipse? Lol I know you’re saying talon but the 2 look so much alike lol

Richard Holland

sumit racing custom order 99811 forged dome pistons

jeremy doblinger

These Talons were great cars honestly..very spicy for the time and they handled like they were on rails..I had a 92 dodge stealth rt..twin turbo all wheel drive v6..car handled great!!

azian6er

Hey, FP still in business – just put one of their xona turbos on my new Supra. 800/750 on stock motor – this customer was a good researcher

John Barrett

My first car was a 97 talon awd. I had so much fun learning to fix and modify it. At the end the shell was just too far gone from all the years of New England road salt before I got it. You guys are making me miss it

Broke Wrench

That thing might be crankwalking. Might have to check the crank movement for bad thrust bearings. That causes bad noise with the clutch pushed in and makes the clutch drop to the floor sometimes

Blueberry

Idk how I came across y’all’s channel but I’m sure glad I did! Love this series and cannot wait for the update. Good job guys!

daniel carter

Put 1000 miles on it then beat on it
