This didn't make sense to me. So you showed us how a functioning speaker worked. I have a dodge ram extended cab and only my front passenger side is working. When you say "back here" are you referring to the wiring that goes to the fuse box?
I rewired re-taped everything and still the front speakers go blank when i put in a little more bass.
I get crackling from my passenger side dash and door speaker, I checked all the connections and it still does the same, it cuts in and out
Any advice? I’ve taken it apart so many times
What causes rear speakers not to be as loud or bassy as the front? I removed the rear speakers and connected 6x9s to the wiring but the sound isnt as loud as the front, alot of treble but not much bass
All my speakers work except for the front driver side. I plugged a working speaker to it and still no sound. Any suggestions ?
Thanks bro. Short , sweet and to the point all while doing exactly what was needed to be done. Good work dude
Why would you start by cutting the wiring harness? That would be a last resort troubleshooting not a first step and even at that you can do that with a wire tap and not actually sever the connection and expose 4 new points of failure for future problems. Not to mention if you knew the first thing about EE you could verify everything you just did with a multimeter and not have to modify a single wire to come out with exact same result. I would never bring my car to you. Plus you didn't even verify the issue you just said it must've been something behind the head unit. Problem not solved and now there's all kinds of cut wires. Just goes to show you just because someone does something for a living doesn't mean they know what they're doing.
tell me, when it was locked out..and it has illumination light..nothing came on…no sound, no power…what are the next step…
Only one side of speakers work 🤧 Can anyone help
Soooo….what happens next???
Napoleon Dynamite had one of those Tone Generators in his Time Machine. You forgot to add the Crystals

What would cause a piping noice then because I test a speaker in my back left switched it with my back right and it worked fine put it back on the left then it started poping
Bah! Everything works in this video! I do not feel I have learned anything from watching this video!
Oh geesh you lost me at the first tool..
Half job well done
Thanks. Now I just made my car worse than it was before
I had what I thought was a broken or blown speaker in my car door. I removed it and played the radio with base… no busted speaker sound, so I thought, sure that must be the one. I took it to a general speaker repair shop today and the speaker is fine. What's my next step to solve this issue? Any help would be appreciated.
Why not just connect the sound generator directly to speaker?
You rock! Thank you
Very very helpful thank you.
