Japan’s oldest existing toilet has been damaged after a car crashed into the building it was in.
The car was driven by an employee of the company working to preserve the toilet.
The 30-year-old man, who works for the Kyoto Heritage Preservation Association, accidentally accelerated into the Tofukuji Temple whilst the car was in reverse.
The driver immediately called police after the incident.
No one was harmed.
