Watch Richard Hammond’s Workshop in the UK:
This MGB was the final car Richard Hammond ever got behind the wheel of on Top Gear. Now, he and the Smallest Cogs have turned it into a racecar, which Mike Fernie has been given the job of testing around the epic Llandow race circuit!

You tube appears broken today, A comment I made 4 hrs ago appeared on the Wilderness Cooking channel and just reappeared here again 19 seconds ago.
Im Impressed that Mike knows how to heel-and-toe. Up to this point I tought he was only with drivetribe for his presenting knowledge.
I've gotten to drive a MG-C before; a rare car in the US. Loved it. Also got to drive a Triumph GT6+ and owned a Triumph Spitfire and a Jaguar XKE. Love British sports cars… and laughed out loud when I heard your comment on the temp gauge: "This one's a little bit British" The spectre of Lucas still haunts us all…
I guess the cogs managed to rescue the engine. Probably not a big issue at all but better safe than sorry.
Tyres are fudged after that 🙂
Don’t worry about the water temp, if the water temp is too high the oil pressure will be lower than normal
…you bring a WRAPPED car racing to advertise a painting business…
Think I will wait to watch for free on Quest, I'm not paying anymore subscriptions!
The last car he didnt crash you mean
wow, great…
LS SWAP!!
Urgh that feeling when your favourite car channels are popping to the local track..
Can they move that seat back a bit or do you guys have a particularly short driver?
Wasn’t the final car he drove the jeep from the suv challenge ??
Well it needs about 180-220 hp.
Arrrg! My bro in law still has an mgb gt in his barn. Mostly solid and half way to chrome bumper conversion. Perfect candidate for a project like this save roll cage and harnesses
So… Did you break the MGB? come on Mike, you can tell us!
Hang on, Hammond's crew put the suspension on back-to-front? jeez…..BTW, you've turned tangerine mate, very weird.
Heel & Toe ? Pffft, learn to match revs and get that left foot on the middle pedal where it belongs.
What old little Ford coupe did Hamster drive in TG guys?
I believe Paddy Hopkirk developed his throttle pedal to close the gap between pedals for heel-toe racing on the MGB. Might check into that.
Llandow nis where my grandfwas killed flying back from Ireland in 1950. Stay safe.
Some would say it's sacrilege to mess about with a classic B
That is a sweet little sports car with its improved engine and suspension.
why wear that crash hat? after smashing it on the floor needs to go in the bin
I miss my BGT 😢
I really have to get a VPN so i can watch this sh9w in the US
Just rename the channel "HammondTribe"
If we are talking about what was shown not actually driven it was that jeep
I have to wonder if the gauge truly failed, or if it's an issue with the sender and/or the electrical system.
Would love to see it produced as a Hot Wheels car.
i like this car i wish smallest cog perform well enough
The transmission tunnel means the brake and the gas pedal are too far apart!?
Weld a pad on both the gas and brake pedals, sorted.
Remember guys – this is a global audience, so we can’t yet get Richard Hammond‘s workshop Series 2 in the US yet……WHEN?????
"the final show"…just imagine if Clarkson would've kept his bigoted mouth shut
please dont climb on the car
If it races this with CSCC again in 2023 You guys would be more than welcome to the grid. Looking forward to sharing the track with you guys 🙂
Ahhh, spoilers!
