That looked beyond delicious. Did you ever get an offer to go be a chef in some fancy sea-food restaurant?

Tammy Nievinski

Are you ever concerned that you are getting to far away from the safety of your boat?

Justified jester

Little tip with the Nam Jim, add fish sauce and sugar than citrus. ( fish sc will disove the sugar)

Megamind TV Sydney

Hey Rod remember the tuna Cheese burgers 🍔 you make on the boat !? That was Hecktic

RavH

What sun cream do you use when you're out on these trips?

Daniel de Kock

Long time watcher, first time commenting. Love your videos Dude. I watch them before bed… helps me fall asleep. Love from Cape Town South Africa.

Wade Flores

Damn Rod, I don't think i have ever seen you miss with the spear gun before. Also, the whale song were really cool in the last vid.

Bodsynffc

You're an absolute pleasure to follow rod. You've inspired me to start my own solo camping adventures. Keep up your amazing work. 👍🏻👍🏻

Alan Martin

What is the brand name of your boat?

Johan_Boertjie

I’d quit my job in a heartbeat to do this every day. But I don’t think i can afford to do this but until then i can always enjoy your journeys and expeditions!!

PA Penny Pincher

You should make a recipe book bud. I watch your videos half for the adventure and half to see what awesome looking food you come up with this time

Randal Weiland

Ever have any close calls with sharks? Looks like your always checking your surroundings.

Such an inspiration! Next month I will be taking a camping trip down to the gulf coast of Florida. After watching your videos there are so many things I want to experience on the coast I have never done in the past. I have tent camped next to the beach a few times in the past but I always bring my food with me or I will leave the campsite to eat at a local restaurant. I have never caught my own food. Your videos this year have inspired me to challenge myself to catch and cook as often as I can while there. I also plan to do some snorkeling off the beach. Hopefully the water will remain clear. Maybe next year I will add spear fishing to the list of things to do. Thanks, Rod! Keep the videos coming! I'm in your notification squad 🙂

The way you make viewers feel a true part of your adventures is wonderful. Very natural, very comfortable. I’m watching this right after returning from introducing friends to bikepacking in the Alberta mountain foothills, and seeing a 5 year old catch his first ever trout on my fly rod. Cast and hooked unassisted (and released healthy). Same feeling you seem to capture every trip; making your own adventure but sharing it is the best.

How long can rod hold his breath for btw! He’s turning into a coral trout 😅🤣

Another great vid rod 👏🏽

BenVentures

Very jealous of your adventures! Love the great content.

JMMichael

I hope you realize you're living the dream of a million men.

Adam Lefler

imagine setting up a fish fry booth for the sailboats that come in there.. ChaChing lol That will be you one of these days, dropping anchor in beautiful bays and you will be sitting on the beach eating your meal looking out at your sailboat 🙂

Blake Strickland

Farewell "little Boat".. So many memories..

Diski Domain

Do you have multiple batteries or a portable charger for these trips?

Darren Thompson

Thanks one more time for such a honest and awesome video. Watch them all and absolutely love it.

Koto Gray

I hope you know just how fortunate you are to live in an area where you can do what you do
I know I appreciate being able to watch your videos

Simon Ovens

Rod if you left your unclean dishes laying around here in Northern Ontario you would have a bear to keep you warn at night.

Noralee Stone

I love your videos so much that I always save them for last.😍 The snorkeling segment this trip was great. ❤So nice to see all the big and little fish. 👍 Quite a few large ones, but I know why you don't spear them. 😜Maybe you'll make some new friends from those 2 sailboats that arrived as you were cooking. 🤔 Hope you had a wonderful rest of the day. See you next time. Warm regards from Ontario, Canada. 😁❤

Im not a coconut person but that recipie for the dipping sauce looks amazing. For me instead of using coconut to coat my fish i would just go with salt and pepper yes. But great job on your video and that scenery looks amazing Im so jealous

Tom Trustworthy

It's always so odd for me to see where you're at and hear about you being cold as well. I'm near Chicago so seeing a tropical area like this and hearing its cold just messes with my brain haha.

Sarbaaz Chabahar

This was a great adventure. Thanks for sharing💫🎣✌️🍻

At or around 20:00 was that whale song?

Ben Ives

Its bizarre seeing other people/boats on your adventures!

Chris Marchese

Monique E. Jones

Such a beautiful view, coming in to the beach with your lone tent against the treeline, as always thanks for sharing and making my saturday morning coffee more of an adventure.

crystalbreathx

You have the most epic channel out there I love your content and your food looks so delicious

paul einfeldt

My favorite subscription! Just a question, what happened on the missed shot? You had the large fish point blank, let it pass, then missed something in the deep shadows? Almost looked like a misfire?

Catalina Hunter

You don't like Angelfish? We'd eat Angelfish sashimi marinated in just lemon juice. Yum.

Fish: "Oh, what a beautiful mornin' Oh, what a beautiful day

Jake

Forgot to mention we have those long Tom’s here as well! We call them something more derogatory I won’t say here (not fam friendly) but I caught a massive one casting for spanish (our small spanish! Not y’all’s version) lol. Cheers man

Jake

Being up in those islands be cool to see something big smash the popper! But also that seems to be ALOT of casting for few hits. Yeah you know you have found a good spot when everyone wants to be there. Cheers man, hope all is awesome

Wyntar

I have to be honest mate, I am going to miss your True Kit boat. You’ve taken us on some wonderful adventures with it. It’s inspired me and the wife to go “inflatable”, and many others I bet. On the other hand, I look forward to seeing more of “Misty” under way. Stay safe and awesome duder, much love and respect from sunny New England.
