I don't recommend sta-bil. In other tests I've seen, it added no benefit to the aged fuel. Overuse will cause serious gelling of the fuel and a clogged fuel system.
Is there a way to clean and flush the fuel system?
I have a car that has been sitting for about 5 months with gas .
At one point a ton of smoke came out the exhaust recently when trying to use it again and I am being told the fuel pump needs replacement but I’m wondering if I should do some sort of flush and refuel?the car lost power when driving and apparently won’t stay on according to dealer
Thing was I was also in need of an oil change ,car had almost no oil since I was waiting to change the oil pump.
So I assumed smoke out the back was due to oil pump and oil issue .but now I see the car is having issues staying on.
Does smoke out the back only come from fuel issue? Or a bad pump? Could that bunch of smoke have come out due to Oil issues or oil pump? Or simply just old oil
Should I do some sort of flush etc? I wonder if it’s a bad idea to change to a new pump without doing anything about the gas. I don’t know if there is a way to check if gas is too old
Dealer didn’t seem to care when I mentioned my gas was about 6 months old
why did I just start a 2003 pathfinder that sat for 3 years with out being started and it works fine?
car im driving sat over two years it still ran 98 durango, still driving it
Great Videos, i like your honesty. What state do you live?? From the footage doesn't seems i'm close to you, are you any close to California?? I tired with Mickey Mouse mechanics that tell you 100 different things. I'm ready to go for Mechanical Engineer. Cute little dogie. Cheers.
I've used gas, with ethanol, mixed with stabil that was 2 years old no problems
Good video brother thank you 🙏
My car won’t start I’ve bought a alternator, starter, two batteries probably need to charge this one now but I pulled a crankshaft sensor and ecm off of vehicle with same engine ha

Thanks Brother Paul! Work at home killed my car.
Thanks a bunch for this video. I wish I knew this when I had my car sitting out months.
God Bless you bro
Alcohol free premium with stabil. Good for at least a year in my stored cars that stored for 6 months.
