Make a video on how to paint unpainted door handles of a car. I mean the handles were not painted from the factory. They are just plastic. Nothing on it.

hey guys how do you get excess paint that accidentally got on the soft vinyl door parts? and without damaging the vinyl? just a tiny 'film' of it somehow got on the soft vinyl on the doors. tried nail polish remover just lightly- not working. dont want to try anything harsh and end up damaging the vinyl . also some paint got on the rubber seal around the tailgate. how to get that off? thanks-

what should i use to clean the interior before painting ?

Conny

How did you remove the vinyl spray from the plastic?

TheUnknownTokers

Woah thats crazy I was just searching interior paint job tutorial and who would have known it is the same car i want to paint the interior haha nice!

Do you think you can make a tutorial of removing the center console and all the interior panels you removed? That would be great! 😀

Nice video man!!

Like all kinds of painting, you should really try to work on spraying evenly and work on your technique. It's no wonder there are over spray areas. You shouldn't just spray to spray. Esp in areas you missed. You can always go back and spray another even layer across areas you missed the previous layer. Just my opinion. Finish product still looks good on video. Cheers.

Wow, are you in a jungle or something? Listen to those animal noises in the back ground.

With that krylon are you going to get the smell in the hot sun.. I sprayed my cell phone case with rustoleum and I had to strip it back down because a week later still smelt terrible. It was enamel

Don't use armor all unless you want to detail your car with it every 2 weeks!!! if you use it and dont keep up, everything you put it on will look like shit!!

jayvian327

Tony After the paint what steps would you do next to protect the interior from chips and scratches? Should I throw a clear coat? If so which kind? Should I sand and buff after?

WorkinForWilki

Just got a 2003 Audi A4 and the outside is BEAUTIFUL but the interior is pretty thrashed.. the paint on the buttons, window controls, etc.. is all peeling off. Would I be able to fix that using that paint and stuff? Or what should I do.. Needs to be cheap! Please respond thank you.

Muchacho

what paint would you recommend on coloring a tan leather door panel to black?

Edward Milford

Did you spray the clear coat on the door or on any interior you paint???

Bill Downing

DO NOT use ARMOR ALL on your cars vinyl surfaces unless you really want it to harden and crack! Advice from a friend who redos car interiors and seats for a living. He recommends Miguiars

Clay Stanley

It would be better if you explained what you are doing and the types of surfaces you're working with..also types of prep needed for each.

JFire94

Nice ring.

Alex Le

How did you get the center console on a SLK out?

TheDmon66

the scuffs will come back if you don't use professional paint, catalyst and hardener are a requirement if you want any kinda paint to last. The vinyl and plastic paint is decent paint for it's own purposes.

TheShonuff888

im gonna paint the interior panel of my 98 VW beetle the top part of the door isnt vinyl so would i have to sand that area first before i paint it or can i just spray over it?
