One of the biggest things he missed is if there's traffic around you. You just have to hit the animal. Anything after the hit is classified as a wildlife claim and if you have the right insurance it won't go on your license (its pretty standard in manitoba canada)

probably good advise, except for the part about having just polished off the bacon berger. Having not ate animals for past 20 years, I don't consider myself "St Francis Assisi" as the presenter mentions but if you sustain from eating them, you save about 100 animals per year, so if you hit one with your car, it's all that much better overall.

I had a pregnant deer run directly into my headlight and destroyed my car. It was sad, because she didn't die on impact and began giving birth. That was the sad part, the funny part is that factory was letting out its 11 o'clock shift, and two small Italian men in a pickup truck tried to harvest the deer. I had to stop them from stealing my roadkills, so that I could have a police report for my insurance company. When I see a sign denoting wildlife I slow right down and it has already saved my life by doing so. And yes, hit any animal with a direct hit or a tree, it's your choice.
