I have that same heater and its a POS nothing but trouble ,worked the first time and that was it .fails every time after that .
You are having issues with heater because it's doing what its designed to do, shut off at low oxygen levels/ carbon monoxide levels.
Otherwise you wake up dead, be careful,have a carbon monoxide alarm with you
The big buddy has a o2 sensor and tip over sensor it might’ve shut itself off because there’s to much corbon monoxide in there lol

You don't have a filter on your Mr Heater and you are running a hose from a 20lb bottle. I can almost guarantee the internal gas pipes are clogged with oil. You need a filter if you are going to run a hose. Clean the pipes get a filter. Sometimes the filters will get clogged too after a season of good use so you will need to replace those yearly. Just my advise!
Anytime I have problems with my buddy heater, I turn off the tank, then start the pilot and hold flame until it runs out the line. Then very slowly open the valve on the tank (so it doesn’t trip the pressure valve) then relight. Works every time.
