Not a hit and run. It's fleeing from am accident. Hit and run is hitting a person or a person in car. If no ones in it it's fleeing the scene of a accident.

Don't stop. Move as far from the lane and accident as possible. Especially in a pile up. A pile up means more vehicles are likely to add to the pile. Try going the opposite way in the median so u can react being sure to to maintain a steady reasonable speed to react to potentially out of control vehicles.
