We went to Japfest last weekend and it was a pretty wet one! We brought most of our cars to put on display (the two RX7s, the S12 Silvia, the A90 Supra, S13 Silvia etc.) and Dave was competing in the final round of the Irish Drift Championship also in the LS3 powered Corvette. Japfest is Ireland’s biggest JDM car show and despite the weather, there was so many cool cars on display across the show. The Irish car scene is thriving right now!

Man that was a savage event. the pics and vids might look like there wasn’t any rain but in reality it was absolutely atrocious pure wash down and the cold breeze too. 🥶 destroyed 2 umbrellas. Yet the place was jam packed. I stayed till 6 and having some off-road experience leaving the place. Stiff as a poker the following couple of days but man it was worth it. I can’t post any media up fb as i’ve a fb ban will will upload the following month 😂
The quality of the footage is something else, i aspire to be able to shoot and edit videos like that one day. The festival was great, amazing to see the corvette in person ! Hopefully the next festival will have nice weather so that we can see some smoke !!
really enjoyed the in-car commentary from Dave on that video. Really nice to get a driver perspective rather than just sitting there going "Ah, ya shouldda gone wider there Dave".

Ireland's weather is no joke. you fellas are beast for sticking it out in that weather as I'm sure that was a cold rain. Dave, you are an absolute legend with such great sportsmanship, watched those 2 battles with a couple times and yea that straighten on your chase was tough and them giving you a OMT was real blessing, the 2nd battle was well more deserving of a OMT though. would love to hear the judge's notes/remarks on the second battle. either way, a you're real gentleman, and always have such a great attitude about our sport. thank you.

I like the voice over the drift battles and laps, nice addition. Also, what happened the clip on mics you used a few vlogs back? I know there was some issues but they delivered much better coverage of voices when heads turned away from camera. Just my twopence worth.✌

We all know Mondello Park has it's owm micro climate. It's the only place you can visit and come home with the flu and a sun tan at the same time. But Sunday was on another level, almost hurrican like weather, but still the turnout of people and cars was amazing. Was great to catch up with some of the Drift Games crew, Cian, Adam and Dave in the pits.
