klein Matterhorn Cable Car
Since 1979, a cable car takes the visitors to the top of the Klein Matterhorn. At 3’883 meters, this is the highest in Europe, and the view from the top observation platform is simply breathtaking !!!

The cable car shown in the last leg to the top of Klein Matterhorn is an old gondola. Now this ride is usually with another one, with multiple fast gondolas, seats and panoramic windows.
This is one of the best places to visit and to ski in. Also this is one of the most expensive lift systems but is absolutely worth the money.

My most favourite place on the planet. I first went here in 2003….and could hardly ski! Have been there more than 10 times since. It's not a difficult route down by any means (and i believe the red rating is only to deter beginners!). I was back there just a few years ago and popped up to the viewing platform. I am not great with heights but it was fine. The awe of the view expels the fear, trust me! Can't wait to return this winter! Zermatt is a true treasure!

Went their in 85 while in the military. The gondola goes into the mountain and you walk out the other side to ski or you can get on an elevator to the top to the observation deck. You hear about climbers having to take a breath for every steep, well it was just like that and we were in good shape. thanks to Ronald Reagen the we could get 3.45 marks for every dollar. good thing too the food was expensive but fantastic. First thing I did there was buy a swiss army knife and some swiss cheese. There is a bar in the mountain on the swiss border with Itally, we had a great time. No cars unless it's electric in Zermatt.
Nice video, but why do they have to litter public/government owned natural areas with religious symbols from only one cult, and ignore the other 5,000 cults that might want to be represented too? Maybe best not to toxify beautiful areas with divisive symbols of only one favored cult. And isn't Switzerland supposed to be a secular nation, where all are welcomed?
Been there! It's an awesome ride up, view from the top, and very fun skiing down. A very memorable trip.
How much is the ride cost?
"Aiguille du midi" is 3'843 meters high. That is not really a difference to "Klein Matterhorn".
