nice, just curious how you mounted the monster box with the second up seat? the rear doesn’t have that much support. I’m thinking going the same thing.
I used to winter camp in my younger days in the Minnesota backcountry along the north shore of Lake Superior, between Two Harbors and Grand Marias. Snowshoeing through the woods, everything fit in my pack, which weighed around 30 lbs. Most of the time I didn't bother with a tent, and just threw the sleeping bag in the snow. Sometimes the temperatures would drop to -10F at night.
I simply cannot wrap my head around all of the stuff you bring to spend a few nights on a lake… I counted at least six different power sources and batteries. Two propane heaters, just in case… i had a small single-burner camp stove for cooking. My contingency plan is to pack up and leave if something goes wrong, even if it is the middle of the night.
Great info Alex! Appreciate the insight. I purchased a Black Hole a couple weeks ago, am excited to get out. I’ve been thinking of taking a 3 day trip to LOTW. Question; would you recommend going through a resort? If so, who? Having not been there b4, want to make sure I’m safe and can get on fish.

Do you ever run a inverter/generator? Since you have so much tech to keep charged.. it might help eliminate all the different power boxes you have to bring.
I switched to a Champion 4500 watt inverter and it's so nice just bringing that and a power strip to juice everything up 🙂

NOICE. You should do a hub style camp out next time. My bro and I did a camp out in the biggest clam hub about 7-8 yrs ago up in LOTW and people thot we was NUTS. Apparently it's a norm nowadays…go figure.

I ice camp 2-3 nights a year. I'm trying to process how much equipment you have and how you got it all out there. Did you set up the black hole at your track and fill it with gear or take many trips with atv? I'm trying to figure out how to dial back on equipment.
Alex, have you had any issues with the windows cracking? If so how did /do you mitigate that? I’ve had issues with mine but of course the guys at Black Hole replaced them no problem. Anyway just curious and I love the set up! Oh and do you leave the Hawg lights attached to the poles when you collapse the shack?
