OMG! This brought a little tears to my eyes! You could tell just by her giddiness that it brought her back to a happy time in both of their lives!! LOVE THE VIDEO!!
I had a beautiful 66 Chevelle SS396 while stationed at Myrtle Beach AFB back in 81! I traded a 74 Chevy Vega straight across for it! Sold it back in 86 for almost 30K! i do regret getting rid of it though! It ran 11:35 in the quarter mile! It was bored 60 over with 427 Hi Perf heads! Slick Johnson did the align bore on it for me! Damn i sure miss it!
Something I'll love to cherish at the age of both….had it then lost everything, well there's many years ahead got the hot rod now just the honest rightful lady
Awesom. I drove a chavelle in the late 80's… I have no idea what year it was. My brother got it running for me and i drive it to school and work for a couple years, it always stalled at the stop sign so i had to put it in neutral. And it smelled like mouse pee .. got me where i was going.
Now that I'm in my late 60s and finally figured out what's important in life, it seems like such a shame that there's not many days ahead. I have truly come to understand the saying, life is wasted on youth. If I had another 6o + years ahead, with the strength of a 25-year-old, it would be amazing what I could accomplished. I absolutely loved this video. I have been fortunate to own several very nice classic cars before they were classics. Including a 426 hemi, 69 barracuda. My favorite car of all times, that I sold just before going to Vietnam.
This is SO AWESOME, so happy for the original owners to be able to bring their 1966 Chevelle to a car show after all these years, Together!!! Definitely a 2 👍👍 video. Think I felt a tear in my eyes 😢
I love this video, I had an SS 396 Chevelle back in the day. .but I wrapped it around a telephone pole. But, I loved that car. Love seeing this older couple with theirs having a blast from the past 👍🏻❤️🔥
I'm going to have a patina job at some point, just a matter of finding the right car. That car has personality. And I've sold a couple of mildly restored older cars, but nothing this cool.
Awesome work!!!

Wholesome
I love patina. It gives the car character. Old cars with new paint jobs look good. Old cars with patina look great.
I didn't know I needed this until she slid over between the seats….sneaky , you got me thanks that was beautiful.
Original patina is nice for a minute but the car looks like sh@t otherwise. Restore it!
396. 360hp
Nice video and editing. Need to eliminate the terrible voice of the editor. He's horrific.
He should have baked the rear tire right out of the gate
Good job!! Good job.

I choked up when I first saw the engine and, sure enough, those chrome valve covers were there.
