One thing I have always loved about Dan is that all his videos r just some way different to all the other bushcrafters shit, I always try an watch bushcraft instructors videos as there is so much more knowledge put into every single detail instead of these weekend bushcrafts but Dan ur a fucking legend mate big up from Liverpool uk
So I don't need a hundred dollar set-up? I've been lied to by REI and others.
Really? Kick your wife out? Seriously? Maybe try working with her, with the issue being the problem, not her. Maybe even help her to have good experiences with camping. Who knows? Maybe she might end up liking and enjoying the same thing you do and you could enjoy bushcrafting/camping together.
I do so enjoy your videos. Thank you for making them. However, why do you keep acting like all boy scouts are deranged, pyschopathic axe murderers? All the ones I know are quite stable, wonderful people. My eldest son is an Eagle Scout and Warrior in the Great Tribe of Mic-O-Say. My youngest missed Eagle Scout by a breath, also a Warrior in the Great Tribe of Mic-O-Say. Neither one is derainged. I too, am an Honored Woman in the Great Tribe of Mic-O-Say. As far as I'm aware, I'm not derainged either. Please stop giving the BOY SCOUTS of AMERICA a bad name. Thank you.
That's ace stuff loved watching
How come nobody puts the soft side towards their back? Like a pillow. The frame still supports the weight, and It's warmer and way more comfortable. You can fold it so a dry side is on your back. Jus sayin
Excellent! Thankee!
Good video Dan, Mors would be happy. 🙌
What do you use for straps? And how would you attach them?
Still waiting to be let back into the house after taking over the living room 😉
WoW! Thank You! Someone else already said it but I have to agree. Short, focused and not only easy to understand but nearly impossible to forget! You take what is probably the result of countless hours of trial and error experience and condense it into an easy to follow, simple set of common sense instructions. I particularly like the way you cut to the core principles because I find I can take that little nugget and apply it to such an unbelievably broad range of materials and situations. Thank You again for the work and care you clearly put into every upload.
A bow line is for securing the bow of a boat or ship. A bowline knot ( pronounced bowlin) is the knot you constantly pronounce wrong!
Hassle?
Good stuff 🙂
It’s been 3 days and my wife hasn’t let me come home yet. I’m out of chicken nuggets. What do I do? 🆘
@0:52 🤣
TMNT FOREVER DUDES AND DUDETTE'S!
Great video with an interesting and practical example of an improvised pack!
You know that you can melt the ends of your parcord, lol. Great information and video thank you……
Good info- I just recently made a poplar ladder pack frame and am going to get my canvas tarp out and try this out. The wood pieces that I used for my frame are a little bigger, so I hope it works. Thanks for the videos and instruction. Be safe out there-
Love your version of camp crocs!
Amazing!! I will start to build my own 👍👍
Sweet! And that's how you do it and do it right ladies and gentlemen. Excellent setup! I can't wait, can not wait, can't frigging wait to get one of those new packs!! And flannels? I'll never buy a flannel from anywhere else now, hope there's a red and black color coming out.
