This Man is great!! So glad he got money back for that family

Andrew Pants

For sure, it is a greedy, self-serving s.o.b. that would take all the money in the death of his long-suffering housekeeper and deprive her family the way he did. Absolutely this type of person is capable of killing someone.

Chris Odom

Stated Motive Makes absolutely no sense under any circumstances. Killing your wife and son who everyone says you love dearly and have a great relationship with to buy yourself time? That is silly. Any intelligent person would know that would not buy time and would only increase scrutiny. It also makes zero sense whatsoever how anyone could completely remove all traces of dna and gunshot residue from up-close shots from under fingernails, hair, skin, etc, hide two murder weapons, hide a phone down the road, and do all the other things people are assuming was done in as little as 10-15 minutes. Literally all of that in a 10-15 minute window because there is only an hour and 10 minutes of total time alleged from the shootings until Alex found the bodies and during that hour and 10 minutes it has been unequivocally established that he spent at least 55 minutes of that hour and ten on the trip to visit his mother; he drove 15 minutes to her house, waited outside 5 minutes for the caretaker to open up, spent 20 minutes in bed with his mother, and spent 15 minutes traveling back to his property. That leaves someone with only 10-15 minutes to do everything everyone is assuming. Alex was also on multiple phone calls during the trip to his mothers. How could any unbiased rational person really believe that anyone could possibly do everything necessary to completely remove all traces of dna and gunshot residue, hide two weapons, shower and scrub literally everything, hide other items, drive down the road to toss Maggie’s phone, and do all of that in literally 10-15 minutes. I do not think he did. However, I do think that the murders were carried out by someone hiding out on the property waiting for Alex to leave for the opportunity to kill Paul and/or Maggie with the killers motive being either drug trafficking debt Alex was involved in, angry clients who had just discovered their settlement money was missing, or death threats Paul received from his killing of a local young girl in a DUI boating accident.

Also with his wife dead the beach house would then be his. And sense his youngest son is the cause of so much lawsuits he might felt he deserves to die. A bit of a stretch but with their deaths it's more than just buy him some time.

Bob

Murdaugh is a manipulator.

Bob

I love Eric Bland!

Bob

He killed Gloria too just to steal the insurance money. He then stole the insurance money from a young man he knew he could pull one over on! He had to plan this out. UNBELIEVABLE a human could pre plan a murder to take his insurance company for a ride as well.

Think of Alex as a child. What his life was like. Sure his father and grandfather got him outta all kinds of trouble. This is who he has always been

Diane Alarcon

So odd how every state and/or county is different when it come to jury note-taking and demonstratives. I think seeing time-line on a board would help jury retain info.

threeblessings

this attorney looks very sharp and gorgeous..

Jewel Potter

I think he was planning a homicide by suicide but couldn't follow thru with it!!!

Love Eric Bland

Bele Bele

She got paid 1,000 to testify?

Anj A

I think an exhumation might be being a topic of recourse

Eliza Le Roux

What did he do with all the money? It's millions.. Nobody can use that amount of "drugs" and still function as a lawyer..
He must have spent it on something else.

Cats.Addict

Excellent feedback from the Satterfield's attorney… 👏👏👏

Jack Johan

Financial criminals activities Leading to murder. He did for his servant ( care giver) That indicate that he is capable of doing murder .

D brown

He's a southern snake!

D brown

I don't like his hair..Guilty!

Dana E.

Boy would I love to know what is going on inside of Alex's head. I've been watching the trial since day one and that man is very hard to read.

Thrift Chick

Yeah, buy him more time to steal some more money

Cali Alan

An additional thought. How is it even possible that Gloria Satterfield died as a result of falling "UP" the stairs and there were only "8" stairs on the front porch. No dogs were mentioned until Alex told the Satterfield family that he felt responsible because she tripped over his dogs so he'd be able to scam them out of insurance money. In the 911 call Maggie & Paul were NOT distraught, they seemed irritated. I think there is something we don't know about how Gloria fell. I'm wondering, did Paul push her when angry for some reason, not to kill her, but he didn't mean to kill Mallory Beach. Was Paul causing Alex's house of cards to fall? After speeding and drunk boating that killed young Mallory Beach, he was again stopped for speeding in a car. Is there more about Paul we don't know? Was Maggie divorcing Alex?

Bex1959

Please send my blessings to this young man. He was so brave and strong ❤

Alex’s sad act. I don’t buy it

Sue Johnson

Buster don't seem to be phased

Alex Murdaugh never stole a dime from his clients. He kept the money because little people get into trouble when the come into large sums of money. Rich people are responsible with money.

Courtney

Murdered his family for convenience, smh

matin Rhye

To obtain financial freedom, one must either be a business owner, an investor or both, generating passive income, particularly on a monthly basis.

Debbie Tidwell

Court has proven Alex is a guilty thief which often happens resulting from chronic drug addiction but court has not proven he is the murderer, in my opinion‼️

Greg Cook

He killed his wife and son because of what they knew about the housekeeper..Thats the motive

Audrey Daleski

The time line of Alex that night 🌙 shows he was at the scene just before murders, and the drive to visit his mom helps prosecution two-fold: he lied to police and it fits the timing that he did it.

S Melaerts

Unfair trial . It's a setup . The town people are out with vengeance. Some hater murdered AM's family. All rich people steal from people !

10 million…. Nope go back to the first time little Alex had to give half of something to a brother …. Little Alex decided to apply a fee for doing this hard work of sharing. A service fee was applied to anything he handled , a tax or deduction was mathematics & social dynamics of philosophy and psychology but legally he was not privileged , just a better poker player.. Around him people gilt the shiny bronze statue into a golden immortal…payed in money and esteem fawned over , worshipped.
But he peeled off his skin & exposed the fragility within … Inequality.. Does Alex think much about the concept of FAIRNESS ?
The small WHY this all got do out if hand and why we are here today… Sure greed is the best simple answer, but socially it stemmed from INEQUALITY. When you are fair you are equal. Beyond class or wealth , education or status at the heart of you is exactly the same as every other woman man or child . If you are not committed to equality you condemn us all to more disadvantages than simply living balanced from equality in a place of HARMONY.

Kyle K

Why is he in a car haha

Steve Masticola

The judge made some pointed comments about the timeline. Multiple LawTubers are putting together their own timelines out of sheer frustration. Why has prosecution not shown a timeline?

Brandi Shiverdecker

The way the defense attorney treated the younger son while he was on the stand was unacceptable. Asking confusing questions trying to humiliate this young man. The onlookers even laughed at the defense when it was finished.

Laura Kenney

Gloria's death is so questionable. The 911 call shows no care for the woman by the family members she cared for. The whole family acts very cold blooded in my opinion.

WiperHunter

We get it, Alex was a grifter, but does that make him a double murderer

Teri Haynes

Lead by example or NOT

Viola Violet

Why is Alex crying?

Linda E

Bless this man’s heart. I felt so sorry for her son, brought me to tears. He trusted Alex Murdaugh and the system to help them in their grief. I hope her families lawyer take whatever they can get for them from the sale of their houses, boats, ranch or whatever they can get. Won’t bring their Mother back but will provide for their future as she would want.

Sandy Bockness

This guy AM is vulgar .Why does he even still have family speaking to him ?

Katy Kahele Tsark

I thought this guy was an attorney. What an idiot. You would think he would know how to cover his tracks better. Lucky for us he’s a dumbass.
