Rainy Suburb Stealth Camping

Just a little rainy camping trip in the woods of a new neighborhood under construction. I used the hammock again on this trip because it was the best shelter for the situation. Sloping ground, lots of good trees, and lots of rain. Camping in hammocks is always my choice when there will be lots of rain.

The high risk stealth campes are not a must by all means. Do what you feel like doing and it is enough. You are the reason we watch not the situation
Best wishes.

Lol, that strange sound you heard was from a deer. I hear it all the time with the white tail deer we have around here. They are more afraid of you than you are of them.

bsrhoad

The noise was a deer that winded you.

Tete Rouge

They seek him here, they seek him there, that damned elusive stevonelle….. I'll get me coat…

Rob

What amazes me about watching you is that your wife let's you camp out whenever you want no questions asked..top woman.

Maverick Mac

This was not a boring video, Steve. And that was some type of deer blowing. It smelled you and that is a way of warning to other deer.

That sound in the woods is a deer calling to it's fawns. It is common for doe's to hide their fawns while they scope out areas…then they come back and make that barking sound calling the little ones.

Mr.Miner Boy

I spit food out my mouth when u said working on some beer in the woods always get a chuckle Steve thanks buddy

mike ellchuk

Steve I live in Edmonton and my life goal is to find you hiding in the bush one day

Where’s the video of the police

I’ve heard you talk about hammock straps a couple of times. If you want a strap that will leave less damage in tree barks. I suggest the Atlas straps from eno. Has mine for years and put a lot of hanging on them. Great straps and I believe they are less intrusive on trees but I may be wrong?

Cheers!
