I picked up this Adventuridge Ultralight Camping chair in Aldi today and thought it deserved its own little review.
It packs down fairly small and weighs a not too shabby 820g which in my opinion makes it ideal for single night wild camping trips.
They’re available now and are only £17.99 which is a bargain. If you want one you’ll need to be quick because as with most of these Aldi special buys once they’ve gone they don’t tend to get any more in stock

I have the chair also an oex chair. The seat on the oex is more comfy so I’ve fitted to my Aldi chair because the oex poles are much heavier .
How many lbs does the chair weigh?

The Aldi one is holding up well and has been on a few camping trips , mine didn’t come with the base bit
Top tip if you loose one of the little plastic feet as I did use a walking pole ferrule , cheap to buy of amazon eBay ect and does the job nicely
I bought one of these a couple of months ago. I'm also 16 stone. It lasted around 40 minutes before the fabric tore at the corner and it collapsed. Not impressed. I'll be making a new seat from cordura, as the frame is decent.
Looks like a decent chair pretty strong thanks for the review. I'm too late to get one from Aldi but I will keep my eyes open for one.
I'm in East Texas, and I cannot overstate just how much I enjoy his accent! (Happens that I also need a chair apiece for all the family, so off to order from Aldi via Instacart!)

Decent, honest review. It would be good to see a follow up when the chair is used in anger. Just ordered a couple for me and my young lad after threatening to buy the Trekology version. Will like and subscribe to catch it being used on a trip 👍🏻

Great little review bud. I picked up one of the similar chairs from eBay a few months back, cost me £24 and my biggest gripe has always been that it didn’t come with the base. I’ve been considering picking up one of the Aldi just for the base. Might head up in the morning and see if they have any left.
Say no more, I'm going to Aldi today. Been wanting one of these for a while so getting one local will be dead handy, if they still have them lol
