In this video, my friend Ian and I head up to the Mountains in Washington State to shoot a rig walkaround video and camp one night. We did not expect so much snow and the rapidly dropping temps.
I share some tips on how I keep warm in the rooftop tent during freezing nights like these.

What is the name of the little heater, and the heating blanket, I have never seen those before
What brand kind snow boots are you using?
Forlorn lake.
Cool spot.
Hello Edward, what tires valve did you use to air down your tires?
Sou FÃ do canal. muito TOP!!!!!
Beautiful campsite, good looking rigs, what more is there? Nice video, making me look forward to my five day solo trip with my 2016 4runner trail, can't wait.
I feel like I'm laying the wrong way in my Mt. Hood tent now. Lol I mean it wasn't terribly uncomfortable and I only hit my head once so far.
The older I get the less I like the cold. But I do have to say, I love the colors of winter. There's a peaceful solitude looking at the beauty of winter woods. Great video.
Now…I need to find some snow this weekend! 👌🏾Love the winter camp capture, brother!🤘🏾
Nice G-shock! GW9400 I believe?
Awesome video
As always sick edits, plus descriptions, layout and whats going on👌🏼👌🏼 nice to see a tundra back 🤭
Edward, I think you have forgotten something every time I've camped with you.
I use Google Keep to make lists. Once a list is made, it's really easy to make copies and modify them for any particular trip. As long as I have access to Google, I can log in to Keep from any device, computer, etc and modify my lists. Having it on my phone allows me to update a list immediately while something is fresh on my mind.
You can even share Google Keep lists with others.
I can't say that I've ever forgotten anything, as I usually have backups to my setup. And in many cases, backups to my backups.
Really great to see your Rebel back on the trail. Glad the repairs got done relatively quickly. Always a pleasure watching your relaxing trips, well done Edward.
I guess if filming takes priory over camping then you are surely going to forget a few things.😂
I have a checklist on my phone that I go through repeatedly before I leave the house, and I jot down random things that pop into my head so I don't forget them on the day of. Also, this footage looks ridiculously good dude.
Nice to see a full size truck with KM3s in deep snow! I run KM3s on my full size and this will be my first winter in them. Thanks Edward!
Good stuff fellas! Ian’s tundra is major goals. Looking forward to that walk around, though y’all need a beach day so I can see it in person lol
Tell your mate ute is pronounced YOOT it’s short for Utility truck aka a ute
🥶 great snow camping video. 👏 good to seem shadow back out.
Awesome adventures
Thank you.great video.
I used electric blanket, too! 전기장판 is the best. I use the shawl version used over the shoulder to put 'into' my sleeping bag. It's small enough. There are seat heaters that might be more camper friendly sizes & takes less energy.
Or
When I don't have jackery, 2 electric hand warmers that last more than 8 hours inside the spring bag helps too. One by the foot. One by the stomach. 😊
Hay Edward any plans on going to ALVORD in 2023 if so would love to tag along. Have three of us so far that plan on making the trip summer of 2023. Working on starting are own little community. Anyone is welcome to tag along
Beautiful area!
I just picked up a retrax pro and the truss rack! Can’t wait to finish my build and take it out
You're absolutely right out in the woods and in the snow not a better night's sleep. Well in the military I was trained at Camp hail and learned a lot of mountaineering and sleeping in the snow. But it was always peaceful and relaxing, but the skiing was the most fun
what a amazing nature..
envy!
I don't have to go camping to forget it usually happens to me when I walk into another room and can't remember why or what I was getting
So pumped for winter camping!!!
Yay
You forget how to drive sometime as well
What a beautiful sight! Never fails, we seem to forget at least one thing. Great video!
Lost my shit on that decked out Tundra😮❄️👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
