The 'aggressive' first Aston Martin F1 car from its big Red Bull signing

Aston Martin’s 2023 F1 car is visually striking, in the words of the team ‘aggressive’ and a landmark in the ambitious development of the team. That’s because it’s the first car overseen by perhaps its most important recent recruit. And we’re not talking about Fernando Alonso.
We’re in fact talking about technical director Dan Fallows, one of a swathe of new personnel who have joined the team in recent times. He arrived in April last year from Red Bull, which was very reluctant to let him go, and he has overseen the Aston Martin AMR23 from its inception.
Given his background and Red Bull’s dominance of F1 last year, it’s no surprise that the car takes plenty of design cues from the all-conquering RB18.
But that’s not to say it’s a copy, far from it, as there’s also some inspiration from Mercedes and what Aston Martin hopes are its own fresh ideas that will give it a car capable of fighting at the front of the midfield this year.

Will we see a midfield car this year that steps up and become a title contender?

I have a feeling Aston Martin will be the dark horses this year

Lo va a hacer

FixxxeR208

I wish the cars were smaller like they used to be

Fissile Missile

I'm starting to think that AM can actually develop into a front-mid-pack runner over the next few years.

Juice_2288

Well, at least this year The Cheaters didn't copy and entire car design, just pieces of various cars

I hope the Aston is competetive, i want to see Alonso to fight for wins 😀

What's the first track played in this video?

Aston Martin the master of copycats. Is there anything they have been innovative and other teams really applaud their design? Yes Red Bull, Merc are the best cars, but if you copy something they already have then you can only be level with them not beat them. Also I wonder if Lance keeps crashing, Will the boss have the balls to fire his son because I'm sure the investors are not happy.

Nelson Mukuvare

They just need to drop the owner son out of the team for it to do well

The AM'RB18'23 looks decent

I don't see them going much at anywhere with Lance stroll as a driver. He's midpack at best

Mayoisglue

Let’s go Lance!!!!!

I genuinely hope Lawrence will lose insane amounts of money and get nowhere near the top, stressing the point that an F1 championship can’t be bought and needs passion within the team to make it happen… that passion was murdered by Lawrence when he copied the Mercedes and killed all creativity within the team

Jared H

Aston will never achieve greatness with LS in a seat, he just isn't good enough. Good, but not good enough to really help in the constructors championship

Simon

It’s so hard to tell at this stage how well the car will go, but it looks fantastic

ItzzBonezz

Really hope we see some wins for Aston Martin this year!

I loved amr22 and I love this current concept can’t wait to see it on track not a supporter of either driver but look forward to seeing what the car can do
