Thanks for the support and kind words, everyone!

Bonnie Walker

Maybe the camping places you see are actually Tee-Pee spots back in Indian heritages. Have you ever questioned yourself if you are near the Lewis-Clark Trail? They ended in northern coastal ridge in Oregon.
Also consider doing a film and exploration of the Yaak in NW corner of Montana and Canada. Rick Bass write books about his time living there. Last I heard he was a Writer-in-Residence at MSU. Neat fellow!

How do lone creators fly drones while driving?

Would love to hear your perspective on the pros and cons of a trailer if you try that out vs just the SUV

YOU: "Ready to see the world's unhealthiest breakfast?"
ME: "Yeah sure… try me… I just had a cinnamon bun and chocolate milk for breakfast"
YOU: "Here's a little caesars pizza and a red bull"
ME: "Okay you win"

Anyways, I love your videos. They are amazing. I just discovered your channel. Sorry about your Dad.

WHERE IS YOUR WIFE ??

Air, Land & Sea

Love this video! I just finished a trip in late July focusing on rivers and confluences. I was going to follow the Snake River from the origin in Yellowstone to the Columbia our in Eastern Washington but had car trouble and had to cut it short. I was very close to this spot but had to make a bee line to Seattle and didn't get a chance to explore it in more depth. I love that you have given very specific information on the location and I will absolutely be checking out this area sometime in the future. I am in the process of building my own truck camper so I would love to see you build a trailer or whatever you happen to come up with. I think it is the way to go these days. Thanks again for sharing this location.

❣ So very sorry Triston for the loss of your father.

Jeep Gladiator with rooftop bed. Carry water for shower and cooking. Have large power bank for refrig…trailer will make offroading more difficult

Dennis Lloyd

Maybe it’s time to buy or build an offroad capable tear drop trailer. There’s lots of plans available. Sorry for your loss.

Evan Hall

Sorry to hear about your dad! RIP!

Adventures with HEKNBAK

We were just here the very last day of May! We came in from the East with the intention of driving this road along Grey's River but weren't able to get up there due to snow and didn't have time to find a way around. We just posted a video about it a couple weeks ago. It was nice to see what we missed, lol! Definitely makes us want to plan a trip out there again soon. So sorry for your loss – would love to hear more about how he inspired your love for outdoors.

New sub ! Liked 🙂🙏👍👍

I think the camper/fishing idea would be great!

Julie Marcum

You don’t have to build. Buy my escape 17b. In boise Fiberglass is the best.

I'm sorry about the loss of your father Tristan. I enjoy your channel, no matter what you sleep in I don't care, I like your style of narration, suggestions, beautiful destinations, fishing, all of it. I would love to see how you build your little rolling cabin! Oh, and I like the history aspect as I study my family tree and many were pioneers!

Gary P.

Trailers suck. When you go into town you need two parking spaces (long ways). They are a pain to tow. They don't handle well on rough dirt roads.

Joseph Donnaway

I’ve often thought that the places you visit are worth more time to savor the experience. A small camper would enable longer (and more comfortable) visits. Coincidentally, we recently camped in our Airstream not far from this area, along Granite Creek.

My condolences on the passing of your father. My passion for the outdoors was also inspired by my father. He passed from cancer about 11 years ago. He loved camping and fishing as well as hunting. He loved taking my sons camping and fishing. He got to pass his love of the outdoors to his grandchildren as his father did with me. I found your channel when my youngest son and I decided to try Tenkara this year which also led me to this channel. I was going to buy a new truck this year, but after being inspired by this channel, my wife and I decided to get a new Ford Bronco Sport to replace our aging Chevy Trailblazer. She wants do deck it out with an awning and a tent for the back of it and take our grandson out camping on the free camping sites all over Pennsylvania. It's time for this Pappy to start sharing my love of the outdoors with our first grandson like my father and my grandfather did. Thank you for having such inspiring, family friendly channels here on YouTube!!!

Whadaya mean? Pizza is the breakfast of champions! 😆

Amazing scenery and what an awesome spot at the end of your video!👌

More like yummy breakfast! Brb

@SUV RVing – Do you ever get scared or creeped out at night camping alone in these remote places, especially in Grizzly country?

BROINSOCALI

Nice. Did you come across any other people while driving on that road?

rihabn

My wife and I love all your videos. Stop martyring yourself for us and make yourself comfortable. I would love to see the "mobile cabin" you design and use. My dad died in a fire 36 yrs. ago. I don't say I "lost" him though because I carry him with me every day; everywhere I go. You are in our prayers, T.

K Denton

I'm terribly sad to hear about your Dad. My condolences.

Half-throttle

I just built a pop up camper/cabin for my long bed 4×4 Tacoma! This coming weekend is my first trip then in a week I have 2 weeks off work going to do a big road trip!

Rodney Dickleman

consider getting a gazelle t4, a teton xxl cot/mattress combo and you can save a lot of money on that trailer.

digitalreject

Very cool that you showed the Tri Basin Divide. What a cool area. Great video.

Mountain Kayaker

So sorry about your dad. As for adventuring, I live in the Sierra foothills of El Dorado County in California. So I am close to the High Sierras. You may want to check out the Sierras someday if you haven’t already.

Marilyn Clute

Sorry for your loss. 🙏
It would be super fun to see you build a custom "fishing cabin".
We're going on a tent camping road trip from middle AZ to Whitefish MT to see the grandkids next year. Based on this video, I put Alpine WY & Grey's River on our itinerary. Thanks!

Slugbo Travels

I used to eat like that til it blew my guts out. Carry On

As someone with a small trailer / tear drop I would love to see these more unknown roads and where these campers can go.

What is the make and model of that red backpack?

Kathleen Millington

I love your work thanks
