Those rocks look like Pedernales State Park, great place! I see it was The Edge Winery. All those are the newer wineries. Wouldn't be complete without a visit to award winning Becker Vineyard and Grape Creek! these were our faves. They have musicians and it's a big party on the weekends. OK you're making me drool! I am from San Antone and we visited Fred thousands of times…you missed the bakery, ya gotta go get pastries there! And the best German food on the planet outside Germany, at Der Lindenbaum…get the Schnitzel! Hats are perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome back to Texas and the Hill Country! Fredericksburg is a beautiful town! Very touristy. I had my hysterectomy there at the HCMH! Slightly different take! And TMI! It used to be known for the peaches (and still is) but the winery businesses have definitely boomed in the last few years. How did your mom and dad like it, Cody? Hope they had a good vacation! Can't wait to see where else you visit down here! Wish it wasn't so dry. The rivers in the area are really beautiful when they have waters running through. Give me a shout if u get to Bandera! Rhino!!! <3 And wow! We haven't been to Fredericksburg since before COVID hit….and holy smokes has it changed yet again. It's quite good though. It's the #2 wine trail in the country (to Napa). Hill Country also has the #2 distillery trail in the country (to Kentucky). Nearby Austin is #2 in number of craft breweries in the country (to Portland). Austin is also #2 in destination bachelorette parities (to Vegas).
