ℹ️ About the Episode:
In this episode, we left Mount Rainier (just after the smoke rolled in) and made our way to Olympic National Park to camp at Sol Duc Campground for a few days. This campground might be the most relaxing place we’ve ever stayed due to the moss-covered trees in the rainforest and the lack of connectivity. The best word we can think of to describe it is enchanting.
In many ways, we prefer campgrounds without internet—as long as we know in advance. No internet means we bust out the Solo Stove and our favorite camping chairs, make a drink, and play some Candy Crush. 😂 (Okay, so maybe we don’t totally disconnect from our screens!)

I think you mean Crescent Lake?
We live over on the hood canal and you were camping in our backyard. 😊Yes indeed it is paradise! Let’s keep this between us though we don’t want the secret to get out. 😉
You guys were in my “ neighborhood “ in this episode. I live in Poulsbo. Wish I would have bumped iinto you
Wonderful video. Your video is much better than mine was in the same area. 🙂
Guess we need to go back and try again.
We enjoyed camping at the Hard Rain Cafe & Campground just 10-15 minutes outside the rainforest area on Hoh road. Good to see it is on your list. It's a small campground so if you plan to visit during the summer, be sure to book way in advance.
I like your little finger thing whatever that's for
Happy trails. We have that maker
Love glacier, I have been there 5 times.
The Pacific Northwest is amazing….for sure!
Stunning!! Such a beautiful video!! Love you guys, thank you for taking us along
Long time viewer. Exploring my region (New England) with two kids and our 28’ Coachman Travel Trailer. Love the ERAU hat. I graduated Daytona ‘04. Hope your son is enjoying his time there.
Hi guys, we were there on September 20th the weather was incredible. It’s amazing to think we walked the same paths. We probably just missed you. We were in North Cascades National Park on the 26th and took the ferry over. We made reservations well in advanced. We enjoyed seeing Olympic National Park through your eyes. We have watched you since the beginning. No one can do what you do. Your the best!! Stan and Rhonda❤
It’s great to see you up in our neck of the woods! The Olympic peninsula is one of the most awesome places in the country and the combination of mountains, rainforest and ocean make it a spectacular place to visit. On your next visit you should also check out Long Beach and Cape Disappointment. Beaches, lighthouses and lots of hiking! And frogs!
Thanks for bringing us along!
Would love to see Charlies panicked reaction to the sound of the tongue jack when he's in the rig.
Olympic National Park is Beautiful! First time seeing you in my neck of the woods. So much fun!
My aunt and uncle live in Clinton on south Whidbey island. I try to get out there yearly in the summer, but with the pandemic that’s been squashed. One of the last times was in 2018 when we took the ferry from Fort Casey to Port Townsend for a day trip to Hoh. So stunning and we actually got my uncle to hike! I took one of my favorite pictures of them in a clearing overlooking a small river. BTW, the elk were plentiful that day. I hope I heard correctly that you were able to make it into Coupeville. Hopefully so and you got to enjoy some Penn Cove mussels. The best!
Hey Tricia, Marc & Caleb🌞 Is it safe to say there was no solar coming in while you were in the enchanted forest?
Wow! What a beautiful park! Wonderful video!
I certainly hope you took the fishing line with you to throw it away, and not just leave it on the rock. It is not so pretty to all the animals and fish that could get ensnared with it. I want to hear back from you on this.
We are heading out from our Wisconsin cabin to destination Georgia to visit family with our brand new 21 foot Forest River Ozark being pulled by our brand new Jeep Wagoneer. Yes, we are a bit compulsive. I so enjoy watching your videos forever now. Such good tips and your family values just make me so happy. I am bringing Trish's cookbook with me for inspo. Love watching you guys. ❤
Enjoying watching your video on the Olympic Peninsula. However the lake you passed at minute 5 is not named Cascade, it is named Lake Crescent. Enjoy your travels.
Great vid they are so professional its like watching a TV show. If you dont mind the wife and iI are on the fence about geting vaxed or not wife said ill do what ever Trish did in refrence to vax so yay or nay.. Thx
While around Glacier, just south of west glacier, check out the Wandering Gringo food truck! Delicious!
Our biggest complaint about Olympic is how dog unfriendly it is. No trails inside the park allow dogs. Rainier is the same way.
This confirms that I did see you guys on my way home a few weeks ago. We live in Port Orchard, WA
Glad that my backyard was a good experience for you guys.
Welcome to WA! I believe I saw you at the Flying J fuel stop in Arlington at exit 208 along I-5 on Saturday, October 1. Sorry I could not say hello…we were late for our grandson’s football game! Keep up the great content! Have safe travels.
Just a polite correction it was Lake Cresent, not Cascade. Love you guys and your videos, have been following you from the beginning. Kim from Port Angeles.
Stellar video! Safe travels!
Hello again did I tell you that my wife and I are in Washington State from Alabama. Yep my wife's people are from up here.
We broke down just before getting to the Tacoma area. We have been trying to get our motorhome up for several weeks.
It is a Tiffin Allegro Bus 43QGP and I was told they are going to pick it up tomorrow and we a hoping to be back on the road
by Friday. Love you three people's video. God Bless and protect you three always. Jeff Steele
What a wonderful video. Love watching your shows
Lake Cresent 😉 is amazing. We love living here. Looks like unfortunately you got caught up in one of our lovely forest fires we get every year. Hope you enjoyed Washington 😊
So fun that you were in my state. Was looking to see you. Glad you enjoyed Washington state. It’s beautiful To bad you couldn’t of gone to coupeville. It’s darling town my best friends live there. But that’s where practical magic was filmed. Beautiful place
We was there last summer, not knowing what to expect I thought we would stay a day or two, we stayed 4 days and could of stayed a couple more. The Hall of Mosses and the western Red Cedars was awesome. We did about the same route you are taking. Safe Travels
We hope to head west this spring and appreciate your videos. ❤️ the ERAU hat!! I ran a satellite branch at Naval Air Station Oceana in VA. Beach back in late 70s. Great school.

I have a leveling tip for when you only need to raise the RV one block. If you line up two blocks lengthwise for each tire, you’ll have twice the surface to drive up on, and you’ll lessen the chance of overshooting.
4k b roll for all the national parks coming soon?
I totally agree, forks has amazing food. I went in July and I didn’t do my research on food so I was like oh well I’ll have to winging it and was surprised that there was a few yummy options. Coffee was amazing too!
Ps love your videos ❤
I really enjoy that you guys chance how you filme, put new ways in. Small surprises. I am enjoying your videos every week. Thank you
Simply beautiful and enchanting! Reminded me of Cannon Beach as well! 😀👍
Absolutely beautiful. Great info and blogs. Would love to visit.
Lost animals could indicate a pending earthquake 😳
You all do a great job we enjoy watching thank you for the hard work.
Welcome to the PNW ❤️ Its exciting to watch a video of RV Royalty enjoying my neck of the woods!! Isn't is incredibly beautiful? Seriously, if/when the time comes that we have to give up RVing, watching KYD videos would get me through it. It's like being there but without the stress and expense.
Why don't I get notifications weekly in my email? I'm subscribed, what gives?
Love Trish's name on your phone.
I love the nicknames for Tricia on your phone! LOL!!!
