✅ Something to keep in mind… Adding the area of the base and the areas of all the lateral faces will work for any pyramid. The formula (SA = B + 1/2 x p x s) that is mentioned in the video only works for regular pyramids though (regular = all sides of the base are the same). For example, it works for square pyramids because all of the lateral faces are the same. For a counter example, this formula does not work for a rectangular pyramid because all of the lateral faces are not the same.
