How To Make Pyramid Pattern Weights – Perfect For Any Sewing Room!

I used to get extremely frustrated with my patterns and fabric moving around on my table while I was using it. I used to find unused tools like jars or heavy boxes which were great until they made my fabric dirty or were too bulky.

I did some research and found an easy way to create little pyramid pattern weights which required small pieces of fabrics, some rice and some simple sewing tools.

I have been hooked on making these as they are quick, easy and really simple to put together. They are beginner-friendly and perfect for making gifts for fellow sewers.

just a couple of things i thought of while watching your video. first so that you don't struggle so much with the folding in the of the seam allowance when you have the rice in the bag. If you pre- fold it and iron it first it wil be pre-disposed to want to fold down. Second, by making these into squares/rectangles of verying sizes you can make great little pocket sized handwarmers. with the rice filling you can just toss them into a microwave for a couple min and boom they are good to go.
