Humble man!
The talk about pocket size is from the snooker world pool is not about making hard shots it is about good position and easy shots and also it much harder to be safe in pool. Snooker safety is easier because you have rollup allowed and shoot away you must and no ball in hand rule
Interesting did this discipline give them a better percentage of top athletes or dancers or fighters certainly not for hockey as canada is and has been the best for a while and based on population and serious russian coaching they should not be if serious coaching really works.
I wish Joe had asked Fedor if he had ever played Evgeny Stalev who was a Russian player who came to America to play pool for big money.
I looked and didnt see rogan on fargo.Anybody know about what his rating is roughly?
I enjoyed this interview only because I understand the sport and I know the game more in depth. I like how Joe help educate the listener about little slangs. If Joe Rogan where to commentate in pool, pool will sky rocket extremely. Commentating is super important in all sports. I’m sorry but commentators in billiards makes me fall asleep and I love the game. I believe that’s the switch that needs to happen for order to make billiards famous again. No offense to old school people but the commentators now, makes me feel like I’m getting a lecture, there’s no entertainment. This was the only time in my life that I thought I could do better than the commentators. Hell WSOP commentators are more entertaining than the now billiard commentators. Earl Strickland makes me fall asleep and occasionally irritated because of he’s arrogance, but earl strickland was on point on almost every shot but dam that guy would bore me to death.
Fedor plays all games really well. That's rare for someone his age. Usually they have niche like rotation games only but Fedor plays one pocket, banks and 8 ball all world class. He's definitality on his way to the hall of fame.
On the popularity of pool in the states, I think it's probably going to take another big Hollywood movie to make it back to the mainstream. I think that's the only way to hold the younger generations attention while inspiring them. You have to trap them because of an attention span of 10 sec. for online content.
You mean the widespread government policy of using banned substances?
Yes, it's the training methods… Not the state sponsored doping they do
Fedor got screwed on the mosconi cup team and he is the best I suspect because he is Russian your the best friend
Bruh, alot of other countries encourage the use of certain substances that are banned for competition in the USA, imagine growing up taking a certain substance your whole life, while doing a physical sport
A recent video of a pullup competition had a 63 yo do a single set of 45, followed by 86 and a final set of 90 for a total of 221 – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WbaCybU9w8
Pyramid sounds a bit weird if you can shoot with any ball. Much lower skill level required compared to snooker where you can only shoot with 1 ball and the possible balls you can hit are limited each time
drinking vodka is vitamins that what i know
Simple answer . Da
I KNEW Joe worked for Putin

⬅5ft I stopped growing at 14. He’s so blessed ⬆
Joe please get Earl Strickland on!
Awesome interview. Fedor is a beast and I love the game of billiards!
Also definitely get Earl on. That one should be super entertaining!
And what about Janette Lee…?
Thank you guys so much for interviewing Fedor. Pool is such a huge part of my life. I just love the game.
This exposure is exactly what is needed for it to grow. And also thank you for putting in the effort to expand pool and hopefully increase its popularity, allowing for real money in professional billiards, turning pool into a real professional sport.
Crazy
those russian training methods go crazy
So pumped you got this interview
