Tiny Pyramid Bistro and Pastry and Thai Village are both Lao owned businesses in Honolulu/Honolulu area in Hawaii. Tiny Pyramid is nearby Chinatown and Thai Village has five locations throughout the area.
Amanda and I met up with a relative and had lunch at highly popular Tiny Bistro. We met the chef/owner “JJ” and he shared some background on the business. This place has outstanding Lao fusion food and desserts. A must try if you’re in Honolulu.
Thai Village has multiple locations. Amanda and I went to the Kunia located and ordered way too much food at this place LOL. Papaya salad, nam khao, pho… we ordered them all. The owner was really friendly. We even went to the kitchen to meet the staff.
It’s great to see Lao folks doing well in the food and restaurant business, and advancing the Lao Food Movement.
Here are the links to the businesses:

A little bit about me…
My name is Dennis aka Lao Ocean (also aka Dr. Wtpho, but more about that later) and I’m a Lao American YouTuber based in Seattle, WA. Seattle has been my home since 1980. My videos and vlogs consist of walking tours in Seattle and abroad, travel, and things related to the Lao diaspora. I drink way too much coffee, eat pho 20PHO7, and also make food and food review videos. 🤓✌️

I love these videos where I feel like I'm going in vacation! Thank you 😊
Cringing at how long that Pho sat on the table before you ate it 😕
