How can anyone screw-up a waffle?
I cannot bring myself to send stuff back. If it isn't what i ordered I just don't eat it, pay my bill, leave and don't go back. I don't trust any kitchen when it comes to returned food. Some chefs/cooks take it personally and i'd rather not have spit soup.
In San Francisco Chinatown, there is a really old restaurant named Sam Wo that was famous for the rudest and meanest waiter named Edsel Ford Fung. So well known that he was featured in travel guides and tourists intentionally patronized the restaurant hoping to get abused by Edsel. Edsel even has a Wiki page. If for example, there is a hair in your bowl of congee and you complain, he would just stick his fingers into the congee, pull out the hair, and wipe the hair off on your napkin. If you complain about something not cooked right, he would tell you to just shut up, eat if fast, and get the hell because they were busy. It was in a very narrow building, You had to walk through the kitchen and climb these narrow winding stairs to the dining areas on the second and third floors. There was a dumbwaiter to transport the food and dirty dirty dishes up and down and was colonized by rats. It was a game to rush over to a better angle to see the inside of the dumbwaiter each time you hear the bell just to see if you can spot a rat on your food. I kid you not. Edsel died quite some time ago, he literally worked until he died. The restaurant has passed on to the next generation and they have moved to a new and very clean location once original restaurant was condemned. Now, it is all locals, and no more tourist curiosity seekers. Food was always good, but it was too scary even for the Cantonese born or raised here, so the customers in the original restaurant was a mixture of English speaking tourists out for a thrill and new arrivals from China or Hong Kong that found it fondly familiarly dirty and rude just like a Dai Pai Dong.
Always a fun time with Danny and his food!
yur story reminded me of 2 restaurants that i ve been going to for a very long time.
One was this Chinese wonton noodle place downtown, so the new waiter staff didn't bring tea that i ordered, i gave the eye contact as waiters pass by to see if they pay attention, no tea. When i paid i told the boss about the tea, he appologized , i didn't return after that.
then there's this VN/French steak place, steak was good but the quality declined slowly over the years , the owner who sits at the cash register won't even acknowledge u as you come inside their place, i guess business slowed down to a point where they just dont care.
If the services is below average and the food is above average , i would tolerate it but will go less frequent.
Thanks for the video! FYI – it is hard to read the menu from the distance. Maybe a closer look next time.
The steak was not cooked medium rare,Secondly looks like a cheap cut of meat. And nothing really special for the rest of the stuff in that Buffet.
Wow, Raw waffles and well done steak. If ya can't make a steak drop the price and don't serve it. These buffets never mess up the prime rib, why? There's too much filler food.
Also check out my watch channel! It used to be all one channel, but I had to split the topics to better serve the viewers!
I loved that story time! Once I ordered young chow fried rice in Montreal’s Chinatown and the bottom was all burned! When I complained, the server said…It is not important what you ordered, but that you are here…I guess she was Cantonese as well!
Food looked meh
Luxor Cafe could've done much better for those pricey breakfast. JS
Not a medium anything steak. That poor steak got killed twice, zero pink anywhere on it.
Can u review some restaurants at south point casino ?
the eggs are supposed to be runny to drip all over the food. omg, now im really getting hungry, lol
ok, im almost caught up on your videos now. your mic sounds a little muffled. maybe its the vest.

Ah, Noodletown, passed by recently and they're still under renovation. That story reminds me of Big Wong back in the day, as the waiters would almost throw the dish in your direction across the table. Haven't been there in years. The food used to be so good!
Danny the second steak looked better for sure, but why did you order the Eggs Benedict if you don't like Poached Eggs?
Good for you, sending the items back and extra tipping the waiter… he probably got shit from the cook staff. I still think you should have loaded your pockets at the buffet. Ha Ha Loved your story…the Noodle Lady sounds like Sienfelds "Soup Nazi".
Return that steak
Thanks for your research. Best to stay w the known bargains. For me it' would be stressful to send back plates. I'm 68 and never done it in my life. Waffle house breakfast awesome.
Enjoyed your content and your sense of humor. Hope you're having a good time in Las Vagas !!!!!!!!!!!!
Food did not look very good.
Thanks,
That steak looked too chewy and overcooked
I knew the first steak was not that good when it took you a long time to chew the first bite.
I enjoyed your bonus story. As for me, I spent a career in customer service. Now that I'm retired, I expect good service. If I get poor service, I won't return, no matter how great the food is. If the service is excellent, I tip well.
The first steak looked medium well, even as you tried to cut it. At least the 2nd one looked better. Good point to treat your servers with respect.
You know when the toast 🍞 is the best thing on the menu that you should go elsewhere! I’ll definitely avoid the Pyramid Cafe at the Luxor.
Another good one… I would start eating in better places…. Good story time
