They offered me this room for $163 for 7 nights mid April. Usually don't roll this low end but thats too great of a deal for a room ill only be sleeping and showering in!

Those chairs in front of the windows looked dirty !

The luxor tower rooms are nicer

CrimsonTide

Not impressed . Won’t be booking

Love it! Go to Vegas and do nothing but bitch and complain. For everything you like, there is a dozen things you don't! Why don't you just stay home and "shelter in place"?

Tony Catalana

Well if you have stayed at the Bellagio, then you have already stayed in one of Luxor's new updated rooms. The bed, the chairs, the armoire, the side tables, and the accent table all came from there. Too funny.

Still looks dumpty to me – couldn't pay me to stay there.

No fridge?! Oh hell naw or microwave pffft rip off

I'm staying in a "Stay Well" room in November. Usually stay at the Excalibur. Hailing from Victoria, British Columbia.

So…. what are you trying to say? 😁

I would have asked for my money back. They lied about new renovation. Shit they did half ass on the bathroom and the rest was hand me downs from another hotel.

Joseph Dougal-Pratt

You guys did seem to start off wanting to hate it. For vegas it really is only a base. I think the rooms are beautiful and having a socket for your phone not next to the bed or a bit of water on the bathroom floor would not be a deal breaker for me however, I loved to see a full overview from the video 😊

Stayed in this room. Smells really nice. Mine had a mini fridge! Not sure why this one doesn’t? Also the tv in mine was at least 50inches. So strange how it isn’t exactly the same? I like the room though. I really love staying at luxor. Also I actually stayed at Bellagio and can confirm it IS the same furniture.

OH MY I WONT BE STAYING THERE I WILL CONTINUE TO STAY AT THE ARIA I GUESS I DIDNT MISS ANYTHING BY NOT STAYING THERE!

That’s odd that there is no fridge.

We stayed at the Luxor when they first opened 25 years ago and again about 20 years ago. The decor was much more upscale and Egyptian themed at that time. I feel your disappointment. But the Luxor is no longer a high-end resort by any means. So for a budget place it’s not that bad. A bellman once told me that if you want a refrigerator just say you have medication and they will provide a fridge. I have an extension cord that lives in my suitcase so that I can plug in my electronics near the bed even if there is no outlet there. Hope the bed was comfy.

The room is a bit of a bummer..But bright side you are in Vegas.. Loving the vegas vlogs

When I was about 13 I went to Vegas for the first time with my family a year or so after Luxor opened. I thought it was the best thing ever, they still had the Egyptian themes throughout inside, with the water ride that goes inside etc (they since remolded and got rid of most of all the Egypt theming, rides and arcades etc) and Egyptian souvenirs in all the shops. My favorite memory was they had this human sized robot that danced, did tricks, spoke through a speaker with jokes (someone controlling form behind the scenes) and played Dance Like an Egyptian while doing the dance. 90s Las Vegas was fun. The Luxor is just a shell of what it once was. :-/

I always pack.an extension cord when I travel because you just never know what you'll encounter!

Hi Peg & Steve, no coffee maker is the norm now? Guess it's been a while since I've been in a hotel. I can't remember ever having a motel without a coffeemaker and mini-fridge. Have fun in Lost Wages! Good Luck to you both!

Allison Isaacs

When do you go home ? When is your Kroger shop

Cindy Campbell

No frig or microwave! That is a bummer.

Barbara Johnson

Have fun you two! Thanks for sharing! You have had much nicer rooms. I hope you got a decent rate!

sarah cogan

I always think they do that so you don't spend a lot of time in the room! Have a great time anyway!💜
