Nate is confusing Ted and his own father. But also, Ted has lots of one on one conversations with Roy, Rebecca and other people, but never with Nate. He has too much going on in this season. But Nate doesn't see it. To him it's like why is Ted getting away from me? Just like we, the audience, don't see Nate's pain clearly at times and we're like Why is Nate being mean?

Cio Lake

Dean's annoyance with Nate is really hypocriticaI. How many times this season you laughed at him when he clearly felt demeaned? Maybe you're the part of the problem, Dean.

Ryan Cogar

You may not have picked up on it, but the "Ted/Nate confrontation" scene in this episode is actually the first time they've talked one-to-one since Ted apologised for snapping at Nate way back at the tail end of S1 for bothering him late in the night at the hotel & then encouraged him to read his honest "feedback roast" to the team. There's a great video on YT by the channel "It Takes 2 Takes" going over the intricacies of Nate's turn. Looking forward to S3 with you guys! 👍

Message from the universe to Sam was the fans had also blacked out the DubaiAir logo on their shirts and the impact he therefore has on them.

The roller coaster's over.. walk around the park, have a snack.. go home rest up.. And we'll come back later for the new ride at the park.

There's always the NBC shorts to tide you over until season three comes around 😉

"This didn't fall into my lap."

Well, assuming that this is a world where coaching badges aren't a thing (or else Ted and Beard wouldn't be there), is he forgetting that no one looked at him sideways and he'd never have made anything of himself if the person who had no business being there even noticed he existed?

Great reactions!! If you go back and rewatch the series knowing what you know now, you will notice a lot more of Nates struggles that led to this moment. Not getting a table at a restaurant, the media crediting the "Roy Kent Effect" for the win when it was Nate's play that won the game, etc

0:18 It's Trent Crimm, The Independent.

this show has the most realistic and respectful portrayal of variety of mental health anomalies, as well as a v realistic portrayal of therapist/patient relationship. the Doc is an excellent psychologist/psychiatrist and if you rewatch the season again, in the context that she is not the antagonist and you'll see how well she deals w a lot of it.
especially Ted. he doesn't have the boundaries cz he doesn't take the therapy seriously. it's a v difficult task for her to be able to make him understand that she's not his friend per se, without being a dick. and when he finally gets and respects her, he ends up with a v strong support system of an excellent therapist who turned friend. oversimplified, but this season was the Haikyuu of depicting mental health and lack thereof.

Nope, guys, disagree – Nate does not know about Ted's issues. He knows about one panic attack. One. He doesn't know what was going on with Ted entire season. He has no idea where Ted was during the funeral. And more importantly, Nate
has probably even less information on mentaI heaIth and therapy than Ted does. And Ted was already prejudiced. Nate has no info on what is happening with Ted. Nate's father probably agrees
that panic attacks are for sissies in a blouse.

16:22 dude, what do you mean "he's gotta go"? he left a ripped sign there. It's clearly a message: "You broke my heart in two. I'm gone." Is Dean this blind to people he mistreats in real life, too? He kept laughing at Nate at the funeral, and in the Rainbow episode and then he's all like 'what's Nate's problem'…

G R

yeah, Dean constantly asking what's Nate's problem makes me sad and angry. Maybe, just maybe – Nate's problem are people like you???? Who laugh at him whenever he's down?

KGShadow DoesEverything

great series and great commentary thanks guys

This is why I love channels where one of the reactors edits the videos. No one would pick up on that stuff the first go around unless after every episode they watch it over and over again, scene by scene, before moving on to the next.

Faye southall

Look at Nate in the first episode. Shouting at Ted and Beard standing on the pitch until he realised who Ted was.

Joli

so out of character for Keeley to suggest that Roy goes alone on vacation. The writers must have gotten high at that point or something. Usually she's smarter and more empathetic than that.

J N

Seriously, guys. You keep asking what's Nate's problem after you laughed at him all season every time something happened that made him feel less then. When Ted laughed at him after he suggested he'd talk to Isaac. And
no,
you did not see Ted abandon him – you saw Nate's FATHER neglect him and mistreat him. Nate mixes up Ted and his own dad emotionally, though rationally they are two different people.

Kelly Fox

Thx again guys for reviewing both seasons of Lasso! Really enjoyed your comments. The gossip is that there will be a number of new characters for season 3.

J N

heaven knows i trieeeed. BILF is probably a "Boss"

Nicolas Kaito

Nick Mohammed was amazing for making us love and hate him. All the cast was great this season and i really can't wait for season 3 which they said might be the last one.
