These are the mysterious ruins of Abu Rawash, a site that dates to the 4th dynasty of the Old Kingdom, to King Djedefre, the son and successor of king Khufu.
But was it a finished pyramid as many experts claim, was it unfinished or was it even a pyramid at all? All we see today are 10 courses of masonry, a steep deep trench and a pit.
It was dug into the bedrock but much of the core masonry limesone blocks and fine Tura lining are now missing. Experts believe a burial chamber was built inside the pit but physical evidence is lacking.
This site is not open to the public and its purpose remains open to speculation. A pyramid? Maybe. But maybe it could have been an ancient solar temple.

Has to have been a step well.
It was a pyramid according to Egypt's own archeologists; Cairo is beneficiary of raided stone. It would have been visible from miles away (to Giza and beyond)because of location high up on a plateau. If speculating (ie Bauval's Giza- pyramids are the 3*s of Orion's Belt, this pyramid would be the* Saiph?). Fun ideas – but son of pop who built the Great P. wouldn't seem to want something measly, would he? Maybe realized he couldn't outdo that majestic monument? Altho, a huge Sun Temple in his honor okay? (Basement burials seem a letdown, but not if the builders came much later than Giza, etc; and broke part way into one of them not knowing about the complexity of the Gr.P., Khfra's, and assumed (like Menkaura's deep pit, body goes into the ground…or purpose of that shaft was originally used for something else? The carving out of inside pit looks way too uniform/machine like on the walls, no? Thanks for the video and pointing out another great site; strange no visitors – what's so threatening about this one?🤔🤷👍🤷🤗
Looks like an open cut mine.
if it was a pyramid then where is all the stone??..I suspect it was the starting foundation and never completed.
Don't narrate your videos your tone is terrible.
No it is not a well.
There has never been a single body ever found inside a pyramid ever
More Tiktoc SHIT!!
Find an old well.
Must be a burial site 🤔.
Doesn't loo like much of a pyramid to me, but it would be a good place for water storage.
Could have been a well?
IT WAS DESTROYED DEFINITELY A PYRAMID
It looks like the same design as the Great Pit of Zawyet El Aryan
