Warning: “geekin out” in archeology. Evidence at Jericho supports the Bible

The account in the Bible is accurate. Archaeology supports the times and the events as recorded in the Bible. This is the ancient site of Jericho that has been dug by four different archeological teams. When you travel to Israel your guides might tell you Jericho was destroyed in the 13th century BC which doesn’t quite lineup with the accounts in the Bible. Although it still sort of does even if it’s 13th century BC. But when you look deeper at the archaeological evidence, which none of the guides are trained in, you will see that Jericho was actually destroyed in the 15th century BC which lines up exactly with the biblical accounts. By the way this is not a slam on the guides. Every guide I have ever had in Israel before I started doing it myself was amazing.

"Jericho" predates the bible and would not have been known as such in its day.
